Heat that does not leave. AMBER MIRAGE is the after-effect of stone holding sun — the third hour of an evening, the moment a room has gone quiet. Tea, cardamom, frankincense: the scents of welcome. For coming home, and for welcoming others. Composed at 30% extrait concentration to settle and remain.

The opening is dry and warm — tea and cardamom with bergamot, apricot and lemon, and a turn of cinnamon bark.

The heart turns slowly. Cashmere wood, cedarwood, sandalwood and vetiver, softened by vanilla and cistus labdanum — the kind of structure you feel before you smell it.

The drydown is the hour that lingers — amber, musk and patchouli over Benzoin Sumatra, tonka bean and oud from Trat in southeastern Thailand, holding twelve to twenty-four hours on skin, longer in memory.

It opens on tea and cardamom with bergamot, apricot, lemon and cinnamon bark, moves through cashmere wood, cedarwood, sandalwood, vetiver, vanilla and cistus labdanum, and settles on amber, musk, patchouli, Benzoin Sumatra, tonka bean and oud. Warm rather than sweet: spice and fruit settle into amber and woods.

No. Amber Mirage contains neither rose nor saffron. Listings that describe it as a rose-saffron-oud composition are describing a different fragrance.

Yes. Agarwood oil from Trat in southeastern Thailand sits beneath the amber and patchouli. M'OUD uses no synthetic oud accords in any fragrance.

12 to 24 hours on skin at 30% Extrait concentration, and considerably longer on fabric. Sillage is moderate and settles close to the skin after the first hour. Apply 2 to 3 sprays and do not rub.

Autumn, winter and evenings. Heat amplifies the amber and can read heavy; in warm climates apply less rather than more.

Patrick Mueller, released 2026. He also composed Soleil Levant and D'Or Davana for M'OUD.

Soleil Levant is the floral oud for daytime. D'Or Davana is the fruity, davana-led one. Oud Amal Intense is pure oud at 35% and a closed numbered edition. Amber Mirage is the amber and woods one: warm, evening-leaning, the least sweet of the three 30% extraits despite the fruity opening.

Amber Mirage was born from the desert moment when light bends and fragrance reshapes itself. Tea, cardamom and apricot give way to a warm heart of cashmere wood, cedarwood and vanilla, anchored by amber, patchouli, tonka bean and oud oil from Trat in southeastern Thailand. The opening reads bright and warm; the drydown is amber-oud territory — a piece built for cooler weather and longer evenings.
